Meera Mahadevan
Hello! I am an Assistant Professor at the Department of Economics, University of California, Irvine. I am an affiliate of the Center for Effective Global Action (CEGA) and the Energy for Growth Hub. I am also an invited researcher at J-PAL under multiple funding initiatives.
Research areas: My interests lie at the intersection of Environmental and Energy Economics, Political Economy and Development Economics. I study topics ranging from the policy environment around energy and resource provision in developing countries to how poor countries can transition towards cleaner sources of energy.
